Troops to the Track
In 2010, a small partnership began between the Armed Forces Foundation (AFF) and National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR). The basis of the partnership was to find a way to give back to give back to the service members who have fought for and protected the freedoms all Americans enjoy. Out of this, Troops to the Track became a real program.
At first the program was small, the AFF and NASCAR brought wounded warriors from around the United States to get a behind the scenes view of NASCAR at various races.
Approaching its fourth year, Troops to the Track has built upon the success of the past two years to become a signature initiative to recognize the efforts of our service members. This season, the program has expanded to 26 races around the United States and will allow for over 250 wounded service members, active duty troops, warriors in transition, veterans and military families throughout the country to enjoy a special day of activities at the racetrack.
The AFF is proud to partner up with NASCAR in “Serving those who Serve.”
