AFF Gala 2014

The Armed Forces Foundation’s 10th Annual Congressional Gala was held in Washington, DC on April 9th, 2014. Attendees included combat veterans, active duty service members, General and Flag Officers,

July 4th w/ the NASCAR Foundation

NASCAR Executives, Drivers, and many more come together on July 4th, 2014 to put together 1750 teacher care packages to be sent around the United States.

Spiked with SI

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition models and chefs played volleyball to raise money for the AFF in Miami, Florida. With help by organizer Spike Mendelsohn, DC Chef, the event raised more than $20,000 for the Armed Forces Foundation.

That Which I Love Destroys Me, features two elite warriors’ firsthand accounts of their struggles with returning home after fighting in the longest combat campaign in U.S. history. TWILDM will be released in May 2014, with screenings in cities and military installations across the United States.

Sam Deeds and his wife share his story of service and eventual realization and diagnosis of PTSD. The Armed Forces Foundation was able to give the Deeds family the support and expertise needed to start on the path of recovery.
