The Kurt Busch Project

Kurt serves as a spokesman and ambassador for the Armed Forces Foundation, when he’s not driving in NASCAR’s top circuit. The #41 Stewart-Haas Chevy driver and 2004 champion is intimately involved with the AFF’s efforts and dedicates each race during the season to a service member that has been killed in action or suffers from an invisible wound of war including PTSD.

My Mission

Aside from the Race Dedication program, Kurt organizes “Busch Whacked,” an annual military-inspired mud run at Texas Motor Speedway. An annual event, the run has raised more than $250,000 in its first two years.

Autobahn Go-Kart Race Against NASCAR Champ Kurt Busch

Autobahn Indoor Speedway, one of the nation’s premier indoor go-karting facilities located in Jessup, MD, will host a special American Veterans fundraiser with NASCAR’s Kurt Busch on Thursday, September 4 from 3:00 pm – 10:00 pm to benefit the Armed Forces Foundation (AFF).

Professional racer, Kurt Busch will visit Autobahn Indoor Speedway to race alongside military service members from the Dover Air Force Base and meet and greet with fans. Busch will also participate in two celebrity races, in which racing enthusiasts can make a donation to the AFF in the amount of $200+ and participate in an elite race against Kurt – only 14 slots available!

Kurt Busch’s Double Attempt

Be sure to visit to re-live more of Kurt’s double attempt. You can even see Kurt’s minute-by-minute heart rate and caloric burn while racing and training! Kurt was the 4th ever NASCAR driver to attempt the “Double” – racing in both Indianapolis 500 and Coca-Cola 600 Memorial Day weekend.
